Because no child should face a crisis alone.
Riverfront Broadcasting is teaming up with Rapid City Auto Cares for our first-ever Bears for the Brave Teddy Bear Drive—collecting new teddy bears and new blankets for local first responders to give to children during moments of trauma or crisis.
Whether it’s a house fire, car accident, or domestic situation, a comforting teddy bear can mean the world to a scared child in the back of a squad car or ambulance. These small gestures bring big comfort—and you can help make it happen.
🗓️ Donations Accepted Through: June 29, 2025
We’re looking for:
-
🧸 NEW teddy bears (or any new stuffed animal)
-
🛏️ NEW blankets
Every donation stays right here in the Black Hills, going directly to police, fire, and emergency crews, who will carry these comfort items in their vehicles, ready to offer warmth and reassurance when kids need it most.
Please note ALL stuffed animals and blankets donated for the Bears for the Brave Teddy Bear drive MUST be NEW and, if possible, in store packaging.
