Paul McCartney Earns Second No. 1 On Top Rock Albums Chart Of 2021 With ‘McCartney III Imagined’

Paul McCartney has earned his second No. 1 on Billboard‘s Top Rock Albums Chart of 2021 with his remix album McCartney III Imagined.

McCartney III Imagined – a collection of cover versions, remixes, and reinterpretations of songs from the 2020 album McCartney III, was released on digital platforms on April 16. The 12-song LP was physically released on July 23.

The album debuted atop the August 7-dated chart after earning 21,000 equivalent album units in the July 23-29 tracking week, according to MRC Data.

The parent album, McCartney III, topped the January 2-dated Top Rock Albums chart with 101,000 units.

All tracks feature the Beatles legend’s fellow artists and friends, which include Beck, Anderson .Paak, Blood Orange, Damon Albarn, Dominic Fike, EOB, Idris Elba, Josh Homme, Khruangbin, 3D RDN from Massive Attack, Phoebe Bridgers and St. Vincent.
