Mötley Crüe have just announced a series of three intimate club shows at legendary venues on Los Angeles’ iconic Sunset Strip in October. The gigs are promoting the upcoming release of the Crüe’s new EP, Cancelled, which drops on October 4th. The three intimate club gigs are referred to as the “Höllywood Takeöver,”  and will find the Crüe returning to their old ‘80s stomping grounds for shows at The Troubadour on October 7th, The Roxy on October 9th, and the Whisky a Go Go on October 11th. Tickets go on sale on Saturday (September 14th) at 10 a.m. PT, available exclusively at each of three clubs’ box offices. And in a real throwback to Crüe’s legendary L.A. shows in the 80s, they will be sold as “hard tickets” only. Mötley Crüe are also celebrating their new EP with a pop-up shop featuring exclusive band merchandise, which opens on October 6th at the Rainbow Bar and Grill on the Sunset Strip and runs through October 12th, open daily from 3 p.m. PT to midnight.
