Korn frontman Jonathan Davis, who is still “struggling with COVID after-effects” after testing positive earlier this month, performed partially seated during the band’s recent show.

The metal band were forced to cancel or postpone several dates on their U.S. tour after Davis tested COVID-19 positive on August 14. However, the band returned to the stage on Friday, August 27, at the Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre in Tinley Park, Illinois.

In a clip shared on the YouTube, Davis can be seen playing the bagpipes standing up, but he later sits down for the remainder of the video.

“Shoutout to Indianapolis / Noblesville, Indiana. My God, you guys gave us so much love last night,” said guitarist Brian “Head” Welch. “We appreciate you so much. Jonathan Davis is still struggling with the COVID after-effects. He’s physically weak and having a mental battle.”

“And any type of love, light and energy you can throw at him. prayers, all of it. We have shows coming up, so all of you guys, check the dates,” he added. “Whatever show you’re going to, throw him some love and energy, man – he needs you more than ever.”
