"It is within an honor and somewhere beyond a dream come true to be joining JY, Tommy, Chuck, Will, and my brother Lawrence - and to be reacquainted with decade-long Gowan band mate Todd - in taking on the mantle as the new bassist of the legendary STYX," said the new bassist. "Here's to many years ahead on the Styx adventure!".

Styx keyboardist Lawrence Gowan said he is pleased and proud to have his brother, Terry, join the group.

"Terry played on four of my six solo Gowan albums," he added. "He's on records that include some of the world's most renowned musicians: Tony Levin, Jerry Marotta, Jon Anderson, and Alex Lifeson, as well as touring with Gowan from 1985 to 1990 and again 2010 to this year of 2024. It's really great to have him aboard!"

Styx's Renegades & Juke Box Heroes co-headlining tour with Foreigner and special guest John Waite will begin on June 11.

Styx guitarist Tommy Shaw revealed to Ultimate Classic Rock that Phillips' departure had been a difficult experience.

The banking, media and entertainment conglomerate Hinduja Group's head Gopi Hinduja and his family tops the list with a net worth of 37.2 billion pounds.

Apple Corps, the company set up to receive the Beatles' earnings, pays out millions of pounds each year to the Fab Four's members or heirs. McCartney received more than 4 million pounds from the company last year.

Music rights have soared in value over the past decade and McCartney has an extensive catalogue spread across the Beatles, Wings and as a solo artist. These rights form a significant chunk of his estimated wealth, along with his lucrative tours. Eighteen shows in Australia and South America late last year took in almost 70 million pounds at the box office.

The Sunday Times attributes 50 million pounds of the couple's wealth to McCartney's wife Nancy, 64.

Another British musician Sir Elton John is also among the names listed.
