Darius Rucker recently shared a duet version of "Never Been Over" featuring Jennifer Nettles.
Penned by Rucker alongside Lee Thomas Miller and Brothers Osborne's John Osborne, "Never Been Over" is a song from Rucker's recent album, Carolyn's Boy.
According to Rucker, it was one of the favorite songs he has ever written.
"Now, to have Jennifer add her incredible voice to such an emotional song, you feel even more of what this couple is facing; unravelling the life they've built together. I'm so grateful she agreed to sing on it with me," added the three-time Grammy Award-winner.
"I've wanted to collaborate with Darius for such a long time! And when I heard the song, I loved its story," said Nettles. "But in addition to its theme of lifelong love, it feels so perfect for Darius and I to sing it together."
"Both of our careers have grown and changed so dramatically since we each started out," she added. "And, as the hook sings, 'We've been a lot of things, but we've never been over.' This song is a beautiful example and extension of that constant evolution."

Paul McCartney & Wings recently released a live performance of their 1974 single "Junior's Farm" from their upcoming album, One Hand Clapping.
Wings recorded One Hand Clapping at Abbey Road Studios in August 1974 as a video documentary. However, the album never arrived officially. A part of the record came out on bootlegs, while a few songs got featured on McCartney's releases.
The album is now set to arrive officially on June 14. It will feature live in-studio recordings of Wings hits such as "Live and Let Die," "Band on the Run," "Jet" and "My Love," as well as Paul's solo song "Maybe I'm Amazed" and reworked versions of Beatles classics like "Let It Be," "Lady Madonna" and "The Long and Winding Road."
There will be some additional songs that were recorded off-camera.
One Hand Clapping will be released digitally and as a two-LP and two-CD set. There will also be an online exclusive two-LP + 7-inch package that comes with a vinyl single of previously unreleased solo performances recorded in the backyard of Abbey Road Studios.
